Trends International Announces Date for "Ski Day 2009" in Support of the Trends Cares Foundation

Mississauga, ON, (Sept 15, 2008) – Trends International Publishing Corporation is happy to announce that our tenth annual Ski Day in support of the Trends Cares Foundation will be held on Thursday February 26, 2009 at the Craigleith Ski Club, Collingwood Ontario.  Each year funds are raised to support organizations for persons with special needs, such as Pegasus Community Project, Special Olympics Ontario, Erinoak Kids, Ontario Track Three and Harmony Place Support Services.

"From small beginnings in 2000, I'm thrilled to tell you that Trends Ski Day has raised over $167,000 for our very worthy organizations. Our 2008 Ski Day event raised a net amount of $12,000 with Trends matching the net proceeds dollar for dollar that brought our 2008 total Ski Day contribution to $24,000. This year, on our 10th Anniversary, we are targeting a net goal of $15,000 combined with Trends match would make for a grand total of $30,000 for the Trends Cares Foundation.  We can only do this with the support of the people like you.  With this being our 10th Anniversary, we want to celebrate this momentous occasion by raising our largest totals to date for these very worthy causes!  Please join us for a fun filled day of great skiing, food and friends, and help us support our community!" commented Phil St. Jean, President & CEO of The Trends Group of Companies.
