2009 Trends Charity Bowl

Well, we did it. We came together. We donated, volunteered and participated. And we made an impact on our local community by helping to raise more than $20,000 for Best Buddies, Champ Camp, Handi-Capable Hands, Inc., The Special Olympics of Boone County and TherAplay.

Last month’s 6th Annual Chariti-BOWL event hosted more than 30 bowling teams, as well as those who came just to take part in the silent auction and special drawings. With more than 200 people in attendance, we were able to raise more than $10,000, which Trends International matched to bring our total to more than $20,000. This takes our six-year fundraising total to more than $92,000 for our local charities!

But that’s just for the Chariti-BOWL. The Trends International Charitable Foundation also raises money through regular employee paycheck donations and other activities throughout the year.

Thank you to everyone who made this year’s Chariti-BOWL event the biggest and best yet! We should all be proud of what we accomplished.

About the Chariti-Bowl

Bowling

Over the past years, this event has proven to be a great success in helping to support the Trends Charitable Foundation. Not only are these nights filled with fun and excitemen through bowling, silent auctions and prizes for those who attend.

The Trends International Charitable Foundation’s primary purpose is to assist worthwhile organizations that provide support and services to members of our local communities. The Foundation was established in 2003, and to date we are proud to be working with Best Buddies, Champ Camp, Handi-Capable Hands, Inc.,TherAPlay Foundation Inc. and The Special Olympics of Boone County. These organizations help integrate persons (kids, young adults, and adults) with special needs into the community by providing opportunities for recreation, socialization, and education.
